Fifteen Inch - hounds over 13 but not exceeding

|
 | Basic
Requirements: Beagles
love to chase, so a secure fenced yard is important. A
moderate-sized yard that is big enough for your Beagle to run and
play is sufficient. Keep your dog on a leash when out of the yard.
Beagles like to play, and get bored if left alone. Weekly brushing
is enough to control moderate shedding. |
 | Temperament:
Beagles are
active, energetic dogs. With early socialization, they make great
family dogs and get along well with other larger pets. |
 | Health:
(Health Dictionary click here) Average age
is around 13 years. Watch for Hypothyroidism, Demodectic Mange,
Umbilical Hernia, Epilepsy, PRA, Glaucoma, Eyelash growth problems,
Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca, Cherry Eye, Dwarfism, Hip Dysplasia,
Luxated Patellar |
