Ideally, Dogs 25" to 27"; Females 23" to 25" Color:
Black and
tan, liver and tan, and red; the darker colors being sometimes
interspersed with lighter or badger-colored hair and sometimes
flecked with white. A small amount of white is permissible on chest,
feet, and tip of stern. |

Requirements: Bloodhounds
require a well-fenced yard with room to run. Weekly or bi-weekly
brushing is necessary to help control shedding. They do slobber, so
be prepared. Keep the ears clean to prevent infection. |
 | Temperament:
Bloodhounds
are friendly and good with children; however, they are a large-breed
dog who might unknowingly knock down a young child. They do well
with a canine companion. |
