AKC Height: Ideally, 32 to 34 inches in dog Color: Gray, brindle, red, black, pure white, fawn, or any color that appears in the Deerhound.

Basic Requirements: Irish Wolfhounds need daily exercise to grow into healthy adults. A well-fenced yard with room to run and play is necessary. Bi-weekly brushing will help to control moderate to heavy seasonal shedding.

Temperament: Irish Wolfhounds are good family dogs. They are loyal to their owners and train readily. They may bark when a stranger approaches the home, but they are not generally protective watchdogs
