breed comes in two varieties: Standard and
Toy.

 | AKC
Height: The
Toy variety is not over 12 pounds. The standard variety is between
12 and 22 pounds.
Color: Jet
black and rich mahogany tan. |
 | Basic
Requirements: A
moderate-sized yard is large enough for adequate exercise. Manchester
Terriers will do well in a smaller home or apartment with daily
walks. Weekly brushing will help to control moderate shedding. |

intelligent, Manchester Terriers make good family companions. They will bark
if a stranger comes to the door, but they are not aggressive watch
dogs. The toy variety is best with older children. |
