AKC Height:  Ideally, Males 21 to 23 1/2 inches; females 19 to 21 inches.  Color: Pure white, white and biscuit, cream, or all biscuit.

Basic Requirements: Samoyeds require a well-fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. Early obedience training and socialization is important. Bi-weekly brushing will keep the hair from tangling and help to control moderate to heavy shedding.

Temperament: Samoyeds are intelligent, independent-thinking dogs that enjoy human companionship. They are good family dogs. Although they will probably bark if a stranger comes to the door, they are not aggressive watchdogs.
