AKC Height: Ideally, 10.5" to 12.5" Color: All shades of red, sable and brindle. Black with or without tan or brindle points. Blue merle (black and gray; marbled) with or without tan or brindle points.

Basic Requirements: Cardigan Welsh Corgis require a moderate amount of daily exercise. Weekly brushing and occasional bathing will help to control moderate shedding.

Temperament: Some Cardigan Welsh Corgis are friendly; others are shy of strangers. Ask to see the parents and evaluate their temperaments. Well-bred dogs dogs are friendly and make good family dogs. Corgis make good watchdogs.

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan is 13 years. Watch for PRA, glaucoma, Von Willebrand's disease, disk disease
