Basic Requirements: Coton de Tulears require an average amount of room to run and play. They desire to be a part of a family. Weekly to bi-weekly brushing and occasional trimming and bathing will keep the coat in good shape.

Temperament: Happy and friendly, Coton de Tulears enjoy human companionship. They get along well with other dogs.

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Watch for Distichiasis, lachrymal duct disorders that result in tearing of the eyes, Persistent Pupillary Membrane, Retinal Dysplasia, Juvenile Cataracts, Hypothyroidism, Patellar Luxation, Hip and Elbow Dysplasia
