Height: 10" to 12" Color: Solid white or predominately white with black, tan or brown markings. There are three coat types: smooth, rough, and broken.

Basic Requirements: Jack Russell Terriers are energetic dogs that need room to run and play. Weekly brushing and occasional bathing will keep the coat in shape.

Temperament Bold and friendly, Jack Russells can be independent at times. They love to play games of fetch and get along best with older children who are good with dogs.

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan 12 years. Watch for deafness, skin disorders, legg-perthes, lens luxation (eyes), epilepsy.
