AKC Height: Ideally, 13" to 15". Color: Rich golden liver.

Basic Requirements: Sussex Spaniels need a moderate-sized yard in which to exercise. They require early socialization. Weekly brushing and occasional bathing will help to control shedding.

Temperament: Sussex Spaniels enjoy the company of humans and do not like to be alone. They are generally good with children. They are usually friendly; however, some are more reserved with strangers.

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan is 11 years. Watch for cataracts, retinal dysplasia, PDA, pulmonic stenosis, and tetralogy of fallot, hip dysplasia
